A big thank you from Nigel

Nigel Timbrell is a totally blind gentleman who from time to time contacts Torbay Times all to advertise his upcoming trips and events to support worthy causes in Devon only.

Nigel said’ We would like to take this opportunity in thanking you all for your support and hope you’re able to continue with this in the future.

On Wednesday 3 April at raffles Scarborough road Torquay we had a cheque presentation to the worthy cause we had supported from April 2018to the end of March 2019.

This was for Children and Families in Grief based in the Paignton area.

We presented a cheque for the total of £5,518.51.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the whole year to raise this money as we are a very small group of people doing this.

I have attached some images that you may choose to use if not would appreciate a thank you letter to all if you are able to advertise this.

We specifically support local charities or worthy causes based in Devon as these smaller groups appreciate the money we raise and normally get left behind the bigger organisations.

I would also like to thank our small group of people Elizabeth my wife, Lisa and Jenny who are part of our committee.

We are always looking for helpers to help out at events, collections and evening events.
