Conservative Members and Residents let down about Sarah Wollaston “flip-flopping between parties”

Anthony Mangnall, the Conservative Parliamentary candidate for the Totnes constituency, said: “Boris Johnson has got off to a flying start as Prime Minister and I’m determined to deliver on his promises and bring the change people voted for.

“This includes getting Brexit done by 31 October, investing more money into our NHS and schools and recruiting 20,000 new police officers to keep our streets safe.

“I’ll continue to meet local residents, listen to their concerns and do everything I can to improve their lives and see the Totnes constituency fulfil its massive potential.”

John Smith, chairman of Totnes Constituency Conservative Association, said:

“Local residents rightly feel badly let down by Sarah Wollaston’s flip-flopping between parties and none as her opposition to Brexit has grown.

“They did not vote for an MP to perform political acrobatics but to deliver the Conservative government’s commitments to the British people.

“Anthony Mangnall is proving to be an excellent choice as our Conservative candidate.

“He respects democracy and is making real progress on his positive plans for local people, including around business, farming, fishing, energy and the environment.”
